Magna Doodle Don't

A couple of months ago Hayden started a tradition with me. He would write notes to me on his Magna Doodle after he went to bed so I would find them when I'd check on him after work. He'd ask questions like," What fun thing are we going to do tomorrow?" And if he forgot to write me a note I'd still leave him something like, "Only 2 more days until you are off track!" Sometimes I get into bed and realize I've forgotten to leave a note and I ask Daddy to do it. Not anymore. This is what I found in Hayden's room this morning.

Nice Daddy. Real nice.

Kickin' It Old School

I really like Jake's new t-shirt. So I thought I'd complete the look and put him in his Vans. I learned that he hates those shoes. He hates those shoes quite a bit. But I like them so he had to wear them for at least five minutes until I could get some agitated shots of him.

U2

The new U2 album, No Line on the Horizon came out this week. For all of you who don't know, I'm in love with Bono and I'm going to run away with him some day. One of the best things that ever happened to me was being at the "Vertigo" concert a few years ago when my brother in law Ron's general admission ticket was randomly selected to get him into the inner ellipse. And he was able to bring me into the inner ellipse as well (Brandon and my sister Jen were in seats-suckers). Oh yeah. I was as close as Bono as I could get. Oh dear heavens, it was awesome. Anyway, the new album is wonderful. My boyfriend Bono sounds great. I am just waiting for his phone call...........

Liberty Park

The weather was just too nice to stay indoors today so we packed up a picnic lunch and headed to Salt Lake. I love Liberty Park. There are trees. Big ones. It also has one of the best playgrounds in the state. We were happy to see that the food stand was open and Hayden got a snow cone.

I'm sorry, but have you seen a cuter kid?
